In a few days Menart Fair Brussels, D-4
|
Our first thought was for Brussels
when we looked to the future. After the success of the two Paris
editions, the influence of arts from MENA in Europe would depend on
their visibility in a major capital.
Brussels came to us naturally, as Belgium is probably the European country with the largest concentration of art collectors!

Thank you to the Boghossian Foundation,
a centre for art and dialogue between Eastern and Western cultures
since 2010, for hosting the first Menart Fair in Brussels, in the precious setting of the Villa Empain.

Thank you to the galleries and the artists
they represent for their trust, their investment and their renewed
commitment to us, sometimes for many years, especially in Beirut and
Paris. It is to them that we owe the great richness of this first
meeting!
|
Brussels has a new feature: the scope of Menart Fair has been extended for the first time to include design from the MENA region, which has some surprises in store for you.

|
Art is an essential vehicle for peace,
in all its forms. It is the key medium for perceiving and understanding
the complexity of the MENA countries, appreciating their singularity,
enriching ourselves with their sensibility, and confronting our
respective perceptions. Art is our link.
